Project Mission
The renovation of Russell Play Park will promote a lifetime of activity for the youthful in the Russell area. The park will include an accessible and all inclusive playground for everyone to enjoy.
The community led effort will provide a fully accessile playground for limitless play for indivudals of all abilities to enjoy.
The Russell Play Park will feature ramped play structures, transfer platforms, inclusive swings, sensory play elements, and wheelchair-accessible surfacing.
Outdoor play stimulates speech, cognition, gross motor skills, fine motor skills and social skills more efficiently than any other method of instruction.
Funds raised will be used to design, construct, and equip the playground with inclusive features and amenities, ensuring the park is fully accessible.
